Hi Everyone we can't wait to see you!

Tiny Tots is our parent and child group that meets Mondays during term time from 10am-11:15am at St Peter's Church Hall, Bowness Avenue, Sompting. Each session provides a safe and supportive place for everyone to share parenting experiences, build connections with other parents, have fun, play with toys, make a craft and even the opportunity for a story or singing. There is a small charge for this group of £1.50 for each child. This includes a craft, drink, toast and helps to cover the rent of the hall.

If you bring a travel mug with you for your hot drink for 6 sessions, you will get your 7th session free!

Thank you for your co-operation!

To comply with the requirements of the Sompting Community Church ‘Safe to Grow’ policy all our youth & children’s workers have a current D.B.S. Disclosure check.

Why people believe in us...

“We attended Tiny Tots before lockdown which really helped both me and my daughter as it gave us something to look forward to and see others!

Since then, the singing group has really helped as we can do it in the afternoon as its recorded and both my children love it!

It’s so nice to see a friendly face and also we can send song requests. My daughter loves the puppets and action songs!

Thank you so much for all you do!!!!

Everyone is welcoming and friendly.”

"Out of the few toddler groups I have tried, Tiny Tots was the group I felt the most comfortable coming to.

It gave me a place to let my kids play where they were happy and I was happy, and it gave me interaction with other grown-ups that I wouldn't have otherwise had, which was a lifeline!

Everyone at SCC was so friendly and warm and without this group I would have really struggled with being a new mum and my kids wouldn't have had much of a chance to be around other kids."

"As a single parent of two young children, with no local family, I have felt particularly isolated over the past year.

Going into the first lockdown when my baby was 10 weeks old was hard. Having access to Tiny Tots enabled me to not only have something to get out of the house for, but has meant my littlest boy has actually been able to meet other people, especially prior to him starting nursery.

This has been a particularly difficult year for those with babies, and the fact that the support group was able to continue for a period of time gave myself and my little boy a much needed change of scenery as well as lots of friendly faces for company, support and advice.

We'd have felt extremely lost and isolated without it. On top of that, my boys and I have had to access the food bank, following me being forced into the unpaid part of maternity leave due to the lack of childcare.

Again, without this, we would have been lost, as we don't have family in the immediate area. "

"Being a first time mum and having a baby at the beginning of lockdown I haven't been able to get out and chat to other mums, or for my little boy to see other children apart from his cousins.

It was nice I was able to do this and that I felt comfortable during these unsettling times."
